Stibnite is a mineral species composed of antimony sulfide. Stibnite forms a series with bismuthinite.
The first written record comes from Pliny in 77. It was François Sulpice Beudant who invented the term stibnite, from the Greek “STIBI” = or the Latin “STIBIUM”, the old name for antimony. Its main deposits are located in South Africa, Bolivia, France and Japan.
Stibine is a stone of protection against evil forces. When meditating in unknown or evil areas, it is fundamental to protect yourself well. Schorl (black Tourmaline) and Obsidian are the basis of all protection but Stibine is a formidable weapon against the manifestations of evil. She acts in close protection.
