About money: maintenance tips

Take care of your silver jewelry

Silver is a natural precious metal. It naturally oxidizes on contact with air and this is why it tends to blacken or turn green.

Nothing could be easier than restoring its shine.

There are many methods or products sold commercially but the best known and most economical method is simply the toothbrush and toothpaste.

Manual:

  1. Gently rub your jewelry with a little toothpaste.
  2. Rinse with water
  3. Wipe with a cloth or paper

Your jewelry has regained all its original shine and looks new!

The other tip is to use clay: you often find it in cleaning products for ceramic hobs or planchas.

The method is identical: rub gently, rinse with water and dry.

One last tip: keep your silver jewelry in a box or plastic bag, protected from air or light.
