Pietersite tumbled stone of approximately 20-30mm.

Pietersite was discovered in Namibia by Sid Pieters in 1963. It is composed of Crocidolite of the Asbestos type of Riebeckit variety.
Pietersite is extremely rare and is only found in two places: Hunan in China, whose mine has not been exploited for many years because it was flooded. Only the mine in Namibia is still exploited.
