Kunsite owes its name to the American gemstone expert GF Kunze who studied it for the first time in 1903 in the USA where it was discovered. Its origins are Brazil, Madagascar, Burma and the United States.
It is a variety of spodumene from the pyroxene group. It is composed of lithium and aluminum silicate. It is a rare stone that appears in the form of flattened crystals.

Kunzite is the stone of forgiveness and repressed emotions. It is said that this stone promotes harmony and personal development, helping the wearer to control their emotions.
