925 silver pendant composed of a diopside of approximately 20mm X 15mm. Colors and patterns may vary slightly from one stone to another.
The black star is a “starry” diopside of a very dark green going to black. Diopside is a mineral from the pyroxene family, this stone is slightly magnetic. Asterism found only in cabochon stones is a phenomenon that is caused by the way light is reflected from tiny star-shaped crystal inclusions.
The Black Star is only found in India and to better sell it to tourists it was called "Indian black star sapphire".
The Black Star would be a powerful protection against bad negative influences and brings assurance.
