Chalcedony is a microcrystalline rock which never occurs in the form of pointed crystals.
It often fills the rounded interior of a geode, and more rarely is found in Botryoid form: grapes.
These real purple clusters are perfectly natural and come from West Sulawesi Islands (an island in Indonesia, formerly Celebes).
