Emerald is a berylium aluminum silicate. Its color ranges from yellow green to bluish green, passing through a deep green green, from the lightest to the darkest.
The main deposits: South Africa, Australia, Austria, Brazil, Colombia, India, Madagascar, Nigeria, Pakistan, Russia Tanzania, USA and Zambia.

Emerald is the stone of green light. It therefore has an esoteric meaning and a regenerative power. It is the stone of secret knowledge, it is the stone of the Pope but it is also that of Lucifer before his fall. Emerald is a symbol of spring, manifested life, evolution and is opposed to sapphire.
The Aztecs called it quetzalitzli, associating it with the quetzal bird with long green feathers, symbol of spring renewal.
