DICO-THERA-1
The extensive and documented information on the stones of Provence constitutes a new and original contribution to the history of lithotherapy. Obviously it is the minerals that have been used the longest that benefit from the most extensive instructions.
Various accompanying texts discuss the various sources, the problems posed by the different practices relating to lithotherapy (wearing in contact with the skin, elixirs, galenic forms relating to homeopathy, etc.), the question of chakras and associated colors .
A division is reserved for chemical elements (oligotherapy) and the work ends with a very valuable therapeutic index (without however recommending self-medication which could prove fatal in the event of serious illness).
The aim of the work is to demonstrate that the use of minerals has its place in alternative therapies because concordant traditions in this regard cannot be considered null and void. It is therefore a primarily "cultural" work intended for any person, individual or doctor, wishing to embrace, as much as possible, the entire field of lithotherapy.
This new Lithotherapy Dictionary aims to bring together information on stones and crystals by drawing on all Greco-Latin, medieval and Renaissance sources, as well as those of anthroposophical medicine, Ayurvedic medicine, traditional medicine. Chinese and finally to modern scientific data (homeopathic techniques and dechelating lithotherapy).
