• Very beautiful bracelet composed of rolled orbicular diorite stones of approximately 10mm.
  
  
• Also called Corsite or Napoleonite, orbicular diorite presents characteristic spherical structures called orbicles. Its chemical composition is intermediate between a diorite and a gabbro. The light minerals are calcic plagioclase feldspars of the anorthite and bytownite type, the dark minerals are amphiboles of the hornblende type as well as pyroxenes. We know that orbicular diorite was used to make the tomb of Napoleon I in Les Invalides and the funeral chapel of the Medici in Florence.
