Colors and patterns may vary from one stone to another;

Pink aventurine belongs to the group of silicates, to the subgroup of tectosilicates. It is a macrocrystalline quartz, containing crystals visible to the naked eye. This stone presents an optical effect of its own, called adventurescence.

This optical effect is due to the presence of flakes included in certain ornamental stones such as aventurine or sunstone. Thus, these flakes make the stone sparkle when they reflect the light.

Pink aventurine has a hardness of 6.5 to 7 on the Mohs scale. For comparison, the diamond has a duration of 10, the highest on this same scale. With its hardness of 6.5 to 7, this stone is perfect for jewelers. It is used in the creation of jewelry, ornamental objects, etc.

This mineral can be transparent or opaque in appearance. It has a trigonal crystal system with a scaly (fragmentary) or conchoidal (straight, curved and smooth) break. Pink aventurine sometimes has a grainy, glittery appearance.

It is often confused with other stones such as rose quartz, sunstone or even sandstone. Be careful, because sandstone is a synthetic stone which has none of the virtues of pink aventurine.

Of all the varieties of aventurine, pink aventurine is the least common and hardest to find.

A quick reminder of the origin of the name aventurine: in the 16th century, glassmakers from Venice emigrated to the island of Murano. Indeed, their job presented fire risks: they had to secure their workshop and especially its surroundings. One day, a glassmaker dropped filings into the molten crystal. This is how Murano aventurine glass was born. The result was spectacular and he called it “per aventura”, that is to say by luck.

The aventurine stone therefore owes its name to this unintentional discovery because of its glittery appearance and its resemblance to aventurine glass. However, traces of this mineral were discovered more than 2.5 million years ago in Ethiopia. Then, it was in China that ornamental objects and jewelry made from aventurine dating back 4,000 years were found.

The main deposits are located in Brazil, etc.

Pink aventurine is a stone that provides stability on an emotional level and a certain balance on an energetic level. It reduces stress and brings serenity. The wearer feels at peace and in tune with himself. He manages to overcome his shyness and his distrust of others and can thus open up to others.

This pink stone brings a lot of sweetness, peace and love. It is recommended during a painful breakup, the loss of a loved one, or unfair dismissal. It offers the mental strength to overcome these challenges.

During periods of doubt, pink aventurine brings happiness and helps give meaning to life. It is also recommended for people who are hesitant and don't know where to go. Pink aventurine helps them find the path that suits them.

Furthermore, it is a stone that encourages you to enjoy the present moment, not to stay focused on your past and not to constantly wonder about the future. Just roll it in your hands and concentrate on how soft it is. It makes you aware of how lucky you are to be alive.

Then, pink aventurine is known to facilitate conflict resolution and put an end to arguments. It is perfect for promoting dialogue and communication. It can thus put an end to certain misunderstandings.
