STONES & WELL-BEING - Well-being and meditation through stones
OUR NATURAL STONE ANIMALS
Our natural stone animal figurines.
Animals in natural stone: the marriage of the living and the mineral
Discover our semi-precious stone animal statuettes
Communion with nature is one of the founding principles of lithotherapy. Representations of animals in semi-precious stones enrich our daily practice of this art. They represent the harmony between the animal kingdom and the inanimate world, between the biological and the geological. This is why we devote an entire section of our store to natural stone animals in the form of statuettes and pendants.
Your totem animal in natural stone
With these semi-precious stone animals ranging from 2.5 centimeters (for the smallest pendants) to 7.5 centimeters long (for the largest statuettes), your favorite creature follows you everywhere. You can place it in your pocket, in your bag, at home, at the office or in the passenger compartment of your car. These stone animals can also be given to a friend, parent or child.
Our selection of semi-precious stone animals
You don't know which stone animal to choose? Here is the symbolic power attributed to animals in certain cultures:
- The turtle represents longevity (in Japan), Mother Earth (among Native Americans) and justice (among the Bafia of Cameroon),
- In heraldry, the cat is synonymous with independence, freedom and fortitude,
- In ancient Greece, the owl lent its wings to Athena and embodied the wisdom of the ancients,
- The dolphin, another omnipresent animal in the iconography of ancient Greece, was celebrated for its cheerfulness and tenderness,
- In Hinduism, the elephant-headed god Ganesh personifies intelligence, knowledge and prudence,
- Finally, the fish is both the emblem of Christianity, a symbol of longevity (in the East) and a lucky animal (in Buddhist dharma).
Osmosis between animal and stone
The energy of the mineral embraces and increases the symbolic force of the stone animal. Sometimes, the faculties of the stone are in total adequacy with those of the animal. This is the case for the rose quartz owl, a soothing stone that goes wonderfully with this nocturnal, wise and discreet bird. Other times, on the contrary, the characteristics of the animal contrast with those of the stone. For example, the red jasper turtle celebrates the meeting of a stimulating mineral and a creature of legendary slowness.
